In-class Project January 6th

The gravity-defying nature of our "sculptures" were made through the stacking of stools to serve as our base held in the vice, then subsequently adding more objects on top of it such as a fan and a canister etc. Then on a second attempt, several stools were stacked over one another using their weight to counterbalance each one to prevent them from falling. Pieces of scrap wood were also used to lever each one. This project helped instill the concept of manipulating matter in ways that push their gravitational limits.
